Is SoundScreen right for me?

Is SoundScreen right for me?

Acoustic insulation is typically installed in a wall cavity or between a first floor ceiling and second storey floor at the time of construction. If you are renovating, adding an extension or building a new house, you should consider CSR Bradford’s SoundScreen in the following applications to help localise noise and limit disruption to adjoining rooms:

  • Home theatres
  • Home offices, study or parents’ retreats
  • Bathrooms and ensuites
  • Laundries
  • External walls
  • Nursery/kids’ rooms
To achieve even greater reductions, replacing the standard plasterboard with high-density acoustic plasterboard such as Gyprock Soundchek® is likely to improve the performance by up to an additional 3Rw. SoundScreen is also ideal for acoustically treating sheds, garages, workshops and other external structures to either keep sound in or out. If you've got an up-and-coming garage band practicing at your place, you should definitely consider SoundScreen.
