This DesignSmart calculator is based on the provisions in Section J of the appropriate BCA/NCC edition. Any values, assumptions or rules contained herein are included as required; however, it is recommended that you satisfy yourself on all relevant regulations prior to proceeding with your project.
There is no substitute for reading and understanding all of the relevant provisions of the BCA/NCC, including those that are not covered in Section J.
