Bradford Gold R6.0 High Performance batts have recently proven to be more that just a luxury product, winning accolades for its superior quality and ability to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
In April; 2008, Bradford Insulation was awarded HIA Western Australia "GreenSmart Product of the Year” award. The GreenSmart Awards highlight companies that are committed to actively producing sustainability products that benefit the environment and aid in combating climate change. Bradford impressed the judges who highlighted the benefits of the product in their official
comments.

While these batts were initially designed for houses in areas subject to extreme temperatures, residents in more moderate climates can also enjoy their benefits.
Minimum insulation standards vary from climate region to climate region, state to state. However, regardless of location, insulating with R6.0 batts can prevent a home’s heat loss through the roof by 35 per cent in winter and keep it 10 per cent cooler during the summer.
As well as improving the home’s atmosphere, the installation of R6.0 batts can cut homeowners’ energy bills and minimise their impact on the environment. On average, 40 per cent of all home energy use is attributed heating and cooling.
