Class 10b - Non-habitable structures

Class 10b are non-habitable structures being a fence, mast antenna, retaining walls, swimming pools or similar.

Due to the low risk associated with Class 10b structures the effects of  bushfire upon such a structure is not generally addressed by the BCA.

There are some minor limitations with Class 10b structures associated with other classes of buildings. However these restrictions or requirements are contained within the relevant clauses relating to the Class 1, or Class 2-9 buildings and are not specifically considered in isolation for Class 10b structures.
