Class 10a buildings are non-habitable buildings such as sheds, garages and carports.
Where a Class 10a building such as a garage is attached to a Class 1 building, it is recommended that the bushfire requirements of Part 3.7.4 of the Housing Provisions for a Class 1 building be applied to the Class 10a fabric so the bushfire safety of the Class 1 is not compromised by the Class 10a.
See Class 1 for more information.
