AS/NZS 4859.1-2002 Materials for the thermal insulation of buildings - General criteria and technical provisions
Provides requirements and methods of test for materials that are added to, or incorporated in, opaque envelopes of buildings designed for human occupancy, to provide thermal insulation by moderating the flow of heat through these elements. AS/NZS 4859.1 also contains a large number of product testing standards.
AS 4508-1999 Thermal resistance of insulation for ductwork used in building air conditioning
Specifies requirements relating to the optimum thermal resistance of insulation for rigid and flexible ductwork and associated fittings used in heating, air conditioning and evaporative cooling systems of buildings and dwellings.
AS 4426-1997 Thermal insulation of pipework, ductwork and equipment - Selection, installation and finish
Deals with the selection, installation and finish of thermal insulation for pipework, ductwork, tanks, vessels, and equipment in the temperature range of -75oC to +800oC, but excludes manufactured pre-insulated equipment, structural insulation of buildings and cold stores, fireproofing structures, refractory linings of plant, airborne installations and all external underground mains.
AS/NZS 4200.1-1994 Pliable building membranes and underlays - Part1: Materials Provides requirements for materials suitable for use as a pliable building membrane i.e. Sarking membrane or thermal insulation or a vapour barrier or installed independently or as a facing material to bulk insulations when installed in a domestic, commercial or industrial building structures.
AS/NZS 4200.2-1994 Pliable building membranes and underlays - Part2: Installation requirements This standard sets out installation procedures for pliable building membranes i.e. Sarking membrane or thermal insulation or a vapour barrier or installed independently or as a facing material to bulk insulations when installed in a domestic, commercial or industrial building structures.

AS 3999-1992 Thermal insulation of dwellings - Bulk insulation - Installation requirements
Deals with the installation of bulk thermal insulation in all classes of dwellings. It is not intended to apply to the insulation of building services and equipment. It does not deal with foamed in-situ and reflective foil laminate thermal insulation materials.
AS 3959-1999 Construction of buildings in bushfire-prone areas
This standard specifies requirements for the design and construction of buildings in bushfire-prone areas in order to improve their performance when subjected to burning debris, radiant heat or flame contact generated from a bushfire.

AS4740-2000 Natural Ventilators – Classification and Performance
