Bradford SoundScreen is an acoustically optimised rockwool insulation. It can be used in external walls and ceilings to meet energy efficiency regulations, whilst keeping outside noise at bay.
SoundScreen for external walls is treated with a water repellent agent for moisture resistance and should be installed at the time of building or renovating your home.
An external brick veneer wall insulated with R1.5 SoundScreen lined with 10mm Gyprock¨ Plasterboard will give an Rw of 55 – an improvement of 6 Rw over a non-insulated wall.
