Bradford Building blankets are a general purpose rockwool building blanket for use under metal deck or fiber cement roofing.
Bradford Fibertex Rockwool Building Blanket is a medium density insulation for building applications. It is manufactured by spinning a molten mixture of natural rock and recycled products into fine wool like fibres which are bonded together using a thermosetting resin. Fibertex Building Blanket can be identified by its light brown appearance.
Applications
Fibertex Rockwool Building Blanket is designed to provide efficient thermal insulation and condensation control, particularly under metal deck or fibrous cement roofing. Installation is usually carried out by supporting the insulation with galvanised wire mesh over the purlins or reinforced aluminium foil laminate, where a vapour barrier system is required. The roofing material is then fixed through the insulation into the purlins.
